yep many thousand challenges in game dev project :S
wish I can somewhat finish habitat design today wishfully and resume unreal game engine learning and crafting planet 3954 game's map/initial planet.
hmm i would before adding life forms would continue learning unreal game engine to add blueprint templates to build space survival game logic.
life forms of planet 3954 design to be resumed afterwards. yep would be hostile and outlook wise funny look alike life forms in this initial planet. second planet might have cybernetic life forms etc etc. 5 planets to design for this space survival game.
I decided until I become some what more qualified in UV mapping, I would use nontexture based coloring to habitats.
I tried to UV map this habitat's outer panels, then decided to not to (until I am more expert in UV mapping)
I then also switched to some metalic cover wiht flat shading.
thats what resolved deformities caused by imperfect design (visible in smooth shading)
plus i think this material somehow exported its procedural material correctly to unreal engine which then fixed in default the UV map challenge (which I had not taken as a task)
hmm later i can reuse this procedural material inother planet habitats with changing the texture imho.
now would add internal lights to the habitat then also botanics section/windows etc (all the last ready just needs to be arranged)
I my artistic side did not any liked this texture but this were the until now only correctly exported (to unreal) procedural texture. thereby I dont have many choices (other than procedural textures) whilst UV map by itself in default for this habitat is really unnice, needs some UV remapping skills that I currently lack.
hmm i figured out how to do this fix of uv map to this uv map mess type habitat model, hmm not any required to use above texture, nice
it would look like a klingon space ship look if this above texture stayed. too much metalic/dark.
i then found new texture. yep.
now learnt that i might require to install quixel mixer to add decals to this recent habitat design. nice.

windows are yet not added to unreal, just checking the material currently:
hmm now installing quixel to investigate how could I add decals to the habitat panels and specifically habitat designator (e.g. H_39540001alike some decal and such details)
hmm then i need to place lights to the habitat also
