yesterday passed alike -> 

on morning went to commute my mom and my mom's sister/brother from bus station. then had alot guests visiting them during day and then I at some times continued studying to space warp effect of space craft warping in space.


I think for warp I had emulated what tutorials shown. but then the texture mapping projection system and uv of sphere had some issues on edges (Its no issue on warp animation but when slows down from warp has uv's stretching textures. ) So i tried various sphere including icosphere from blender


I then checked out texture cubemap features in unreal. hmm I am still deciding what to do.

I think on texture cube map there is some fix to that. 

the topic is, if i dont fix, I have to use specific star galaxy texture maps so that the issue of caused  by projection specific is not an issue. but then think on cubemap option,  i think i can still have the warp effect but without such distortion when space craft slows/stops. 

hmm would try out this now. of altering normal vectors of the star map cube type warp animation with texture cubemap with reflection setting. lets see. 



hmm this would be alike game's stuff -> to have astronaut reach to space craft 10000 light years away (with first fixing the faster than light laser communication equipment to connect to intergalactic communication array to then reach to 10000 light years distant space craft of astronaut. and then after that could have warp travel in various space textures mixes alike with space craft in that level. 


hmm turns out this method is not accomplishable as I wished to do with texture maps since the tiling logic does not exist in cubemaps. and tiling is required. 


gave up trying to do wiht texture cubemap as I figured out this issue later silly I.

meanwhile I got very anxious for having rusted on linear algebra skills. need to restudy sometime. 

so in  brief-> texture cubemap based idea were stupid. it had issues. both because repeat uv does not exist second because its projection  is also not for such method

so need to revert to noncubemap texture based method. 


but i think this many hours check were beneficial in the following aspect -> I learnt some texturecubemap features of unreal engine.
