yep there an issue I am stucked. -> the imported 3dmodel whether fbx or gltp whatever from blender, even if in blender it says it exports as z up, and in unreal it imports correct then it turns it incorrect :S as if it were all y up direction from blender:S

last couple of hours struggling in this. I dont know how i fixed last time. but this unreal change of import of automated scene conversion for fbx has an issue. 




-> I been studying till morning this hour. hmm I figured out somewhat a method to overcome issue. which requires reducing the dampening values,  which is not the correct method to fix this issue but there is no possible fix in a day time or so.  there is definitely an issue imho in this plugin regarding this topic of imported fbx or gltf etc. I tried many combinations and at last stayed with this one which increases the dampening but which looks nonrealistic either. but nothing to do fix. since plugin has issue regarding import format's up vector. I tried maybe 50 or more methods until midnight till this hour and unfortunately nothing worked. so following this method. (of using 3d models coming from unreal in some of ) (since imported such dont work correct in this plugin. there is a defect regarding this plugin ) (I think not exactly compatible with 5.5 version. i mean its import module system. it even if imported file is z up (although it says unreal automatedly converts itself)  it still rotates it wrong in the plugin as if its y up. and nothing fixes it. unless I figure out some blender alternative software with y being up. so when unreal converts to z up in importing, this plugin does not have this issue/side effect of defect. since i dont have other 3d software than blender, nothing to do about. ) 


so there is removal of convert scene option for fbx in 5.5 i think that somehow is related.  dunno. in any case, I dont have more time to spare and would continue with this option and with such dampening values. 

i think plugin has issue with change of unreal version. i mean 3d import flow changed and but plugin is not up to date for such change alike idea I thought of the root cause of the issue. unsure since to conclude on such conclusion one needs to read source code to undersand if is due to that exactly. but seems to me its possibly something like that this issue cause. 





-nevertheless now time to rest some time then resume project. to finish to be applied to production version on today.


then tomorrow could resume studying to ml algos project! yep!
