last day were utter funny in terms of one of projects.


I used an experimental plugin alright? then in multiplayer server and client status diverges alot (server and client sees definitely different view of the game as game progress) so its an important issue to check alright?

 then i thought this were like a straightforward to fix thingy :)  then i thought i tested on 2 computers it would work seamlessly. 


then turned out that its not like that and that i have to fix divergence myself with writing code of the plugin since does not indeed supports multiplayer nice very much and divergence happens.  and most possibly thats reason they had placed plugin in experimental status. 



but only nice thing were that ai helped writing code of it and still have to write code of it. but i have to manage this multiplayer thingy of that plugin since plugin always definitely diverges.


so like i went to testing on a friend's computer (for 2 computer test of multiplayer ) on afternoon. then as turned out its not working -> I were like still coding working at 4:30am last day alike afterwards :D that were the funny moment :D of discovering that its not the best of idea to use experimental plugins in a game dev project right? its like one major feature does not work. :D (server and client view diverges in multiplayer :D its very utterly upsetting:D ) but the niceity were that ai helped alot how to fix the divergence. although not completely fixed , i am hopeful i would be able to code this multiplayer feature of this plugin with ai's help in short time.  but the upsetness of me were funny. i mean the expectation that yeah this would work on 2 computers surely definitely. then turned out it does not actually support multiplayer very nice (as being in experimental plugins) 


but ai were very helpful to get to know how to fix the issue but it were very funny working till 4:30 alike hour. (telas mode since one main feature of game project did not worked out in multiplayer in 2 computers. :D )


but then ai's suggestions seems to resolve issue but needs some rechecking refactoring some but i believe i would be able to fix issue.


so since i rested at 4:30am alike last day I could wake up at 10 oclock in morning then had been doing some tasks like preparing soup etc until this hour whilst my mom were at hospital appointment for some routine health check alike.



i am very sleepy right now but yep i think i might rest sometime and fix issue on afternoon. i believe i would be able to fix the issue -> but its similar to -> coding multiplayer thingy (or adding module to how multiplayer works indeed) (since it diverges. :D luckily but ai helped alot in how to fix issue but there is still lots of editing refactoiring testing alike ) 



its like i had to write the default pawn module of that plugin to fix the server client divergence. its utter funny because i never expected this additional effort. so this were experience that -> for commercial projects unless you wish to code some functionality yourself do not use experimental plugins for main game features.   i guess noone uses experimental plugins in main features of game dev right? but i think this were a beneficial experience since i mean i also didnto liked the outside commercial plugins so its like adding this divergence fixer myself is i think better alternative than avail commercial plugins on this aspect. and ai's coding help were uttermost most important factor if I could resolve this issue that were discovered funnily :D it were like feeling like i dont know it were very funny :D i mean you go at last test at multiple computers and main feature does not work alike :D were very funny:D (that were the funny topic of this:D thinking all nearly is finished then figuring out the main feature does not indeed work :D  ) (Reason it didnt worked because its an experimental plugin and not ready for games. but its very beneficial in the aspect that there is some very beneficial basic functionality there and you can fix the issues of it yourself and develop your own version of such plugin. so its like some implementation there and you can implement your features to it.  so it were better than still proprietary plugin versions since i can myself code change its behaviour. (although proprietary plugins many also enable that) but still i think its better than available commercial plugins this experimental plugin version. only needs some refactoring altering as you design code of/replication behaviours of.

 

so last day were like very funny i wanted to find a meme to it :D the upsetness of discovering some main issue on time when thinking when not much coding issue left (althought there is like 1 day coding issue were left i thought by then).  but then its going to fix i think on today this main issue and then remaining issues i could finish the following day. yep. )

but me not losing the mood and not crying were also funny.  i hadnt be sad but found it funny but this meme depicts the upsetness only not that i cried after i figured out main feature does not work :D 


but it were utter one most funny moment of this game dev project surely defintitely :D




if anyone says you software development is easy, ask them to study until 4:30 oclock until morning:D our life passes like that indeed (software developer life)  (I mean sometimes not all times but yep its not rare that a software developer works until 4:30 :D )
